Martina Jorden
Martina Jorden has gained extensive travel industry knowledge as a result of planning and executing travel itineraries for thousands of happy travellers over the past 21 years.

Martina is also the author of The Travel Planning Checklist, an essential guide on what you need to know when planning your next holiday.
Martina began her travel career in 1986 with TAA ( Trans-Australia Airlines) which later became Australian Airlines, and continued her travel career as a leisure consultant with Qantas and for Ansett Airlines in their corporate travel division.

During her career, Martina has worked for a number of travel agencies throughout Australia.While working at one of the agencies, and in recognition of her efficient service and vast travel knowledge, Martina was recruited by the Canadian High Commission and the Embassy of Japan to be their official travel agent.

Her industry experience has covered every type of travel from “round-the-world” itineraries, cruising and back-packing, to arranging travel for those with special needs.

Prior to her travel career, Martina was an accomplished secretary and held positions in a number of areas of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, including the Cabinet office, and later with the Commonwealth Heads of Government Task Force as secretary to Sir John Bunting. Martina’s secretarial career also included a position as secretary to the Information Attaché at the South African Embassy.

The travel industry is complex and continually changing, and as a result of her extensive travel experience and knowledge, Martina decided to write “The Travel Planning Checklist” to educate those who are not so well-travelled, become aware of essential information travellers need to know when planning their next trip abroad.

Martina continues her travel industry career working from the Gold Coast, Australia.
